Simple is Better – Take the Trip

Psalm 103:19 – God has set up his kingdom in heaven, and he rules the whole creation.

Today is short and sweet because I’m on vacation. My friend Kristin and I are exploring the Glacier National Park for a few days. As I write this, we are in Waterton, Alberta, Canada, exploring the Canadian side of the Rocky Mountains.

My best advice right now: take the trip. Make the plans. Book the necessary parts and figure the rest out. Time away is restorative for our hearts, souls, minds and bodies. We all need it.

It’s also a great opportunity to explore all of God’s overwhelming creation. We’ve been amazed at all the wonderful aspects of creation we have explored. It reminds us of how wonderous God’s creation is.

So, take the time. Explore new things. Discover something new about God or something that you haven’t thought about for a while. And as you do this, remember how great our God is and how blessed you are. We are never too old to be amazed once again. Amen.
