Simple Is Better – One Pair of Cleats at a Time

Sometimes, it’s the little things that make all the difference.

Like a pair of cleats.

This is exactly the attitude the non-profit organization we are featuring during September.

Our September Our Monthly Resolution is 23’s Cleats for Kidz, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to engage in sports and outdoor activities by ensuring they have access to quality cleats. Their mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals, fostering a sense of empowerment, joy and community spirit.

23’s Cleats 4 Kidz believes every child deserves the chance to pursue their passions. Having the right footwear is a critical part of that journey. Whether it’s on the soccer field, football field, baseball field or any other sports arena, they aim to equip kids with the tools they need to feel confident, comfortable and ready to take on new challenges. 

Their commitment goes beyond providing cleats. They strive to create an environment where children feel supported and encouraged to explore their potential. By collecting and distributing cleats, this non-profit organization hopes to contribute to the overall well-being and development of young individuals, fostering a love for physical activity and teamwork. 

23's Cleats 4 Kidz is a nonprofit organization founded by Bentley Gerczak at the age of 9 years old in the beginning of 2024. Bentley loves playing all sports, but his passion is soccer. He experienced needing multiple pairs of cleats in one soccer season and felt there was a need. Bentley won a pair of cleats and wanted to give back. Bentley wants individual athletes to be able to “look good, feel good, play good” so they are able to play to their fullest potential. His idea to help athletes with sporting shoes came to fruition with the help of his parents. 23's Cleats 4 Kidz is based out of Green Bay, WI but serves the surrounding communities. 

Recently Jordan Love, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, sponsored a sports season with 23's Cleats 4 Kidz! At a softball charity event, $2,300 was raised to help local kids who need athletic footwear. Here’s a news story about this event:

Here’s an example of how cleats for kids makes a difference:

“I can’t express how grateful I am. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Your support means the world to the kids. Just last week, they were practicing gym shoes at the Broadview soccer complex, and now, thanks to you, they’ll have brand new shoes for their first home game. I can’t wait to capture the moment and share the photos with you. Your kindness truly makes a difference!”

This organization helps provide new cleats to kids. They also collect used cleats and equipment and recycle them as well.

Hubby Rick and I have attended A LOT of ball games. Baseball, volleyball, softball, football. We encourage our grandkids to participate in the sports they enjoy because we feel this helps them develop life skills. Having the right equipment makes a difference.
